I have decided to start over with the pirate project, using a new setting. All of you who have already applied will get your concepts remade.

I'm trying to get some stuff done while simultaneously improving on my skill. We'll see what happens.

WANNA BE A SPACE-PIRATE?

The crew of The Flourish are currently lacking:
Carpenters/Engineers
1 surgeon
Gunners + Master gunner
1 Boatswain
+ ev. sailors, cabin boys, weird aliens and annoying animals.

Are you willing to let me use your personality for my own devious designs?
If you are, you'll be drawn as a crewmember of the space sailing ship "The Flourish". You will be turned into a retro-futuristic space-pirate which may or may not become a character in a webcomic, depending on if I get bored or not. Certain is that there'll be a poster-like picture depicting most of the crew as awesome as possible.
The process of joining may involve a change of name, age, appearance and species. It's up to you.
The idea is that the resulting pirate will somehow be recognisable as a kind of avatar for the original individual. If you already have an avatar you're willing to use, it would certainly make things easier on my side.

1. I mostly do not comment on devs if I can't come up with anything good.
2. A counts as a compliment and is equivalent to "Great!" as a comment.
3. Pictography works just as well as -or better than- words. One emoticon can with ease convey an entire concept.
