I thought that I might as well submit this to show a little of my work process. Not that anyone is interested...
First step is the pencil-sketch. The process of which usually involves a large number of accidents and "what if I...".
Normally the second step would be the same as the third, but this time I thought that I should try to ink it a bit more traditionally with pens. But as soon as the pen touched the paper, I realised it wouldn't work. The paper is very rough and of low quality and makes the pen bleed a lot. So I made an ink sketch instead. The next time I'll try bristol board.
In the third step I've coloured the lineart red and digitally inked on another layer on top of it. Red sketches makes it easier to see what I'm doing. In this step I also try to fix some of all the problems I find in the sketch and tweak it a little.
Final step is to get rid of the sketch layer, fix the lines and add details, shades and some decorative fluff.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

The bottle opener's shape is a little bit off, but still.
Really interesting to see how you work as well, more in detail.

Although you are still a mass, you are no longer an event in spacetime; you are a non-event mass with a quantum probability of zero.
